What marketers mean by structured, hexagonal or living water—and why those labels should not be confused with established clinical benefits.

Marketing language varies
Terms such as “structured,” “hexagonal” and “living” water are used in wellness marketing, but a label is not a clinical outcome.
What would strong evidence require?
A persuasive claim would need reproducible measurements, a clear mechanism that persists under real-world conditions, and well-controlled human studies showing meaningful outcomes compared with ordinary water.
Keep the claims narrow
Water’s established role in hydration does not automatically validate every additional property attributed to a specially treated water product.
