Do Crystal Water Bottles Work?
What “work” can mean for a crystal bottle—and why hydration habit, ritual value and medical claims require different evidence.
Define “work” first
If “work” means making water portable and encouraging you to keep a bottle nearby, a well-designed bottle can plainly do that. If “work” means crystals produce specific physiological or weight-loss effects, that requires credible evidence for that mechanism.
Ritual can still have personal value
People can enjoy symbolic objects, routines and aesthetics without treating them as medical interventions. The problem begins when a subjective wellness ritual is presented as established treatment or guaranteed body change.
